In my last post, a lot of people said that since the armor is full plate , it should have a two-handed weapon instead of a sword and shield. I was thinking of a hammer, but what do you guys recommend?

What type of paint was commonly used to paint armors? Did they prime the armor in any way so the paint would stick?
