The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls has shown that non-canonized books such as the Book of Enoch, Jubilees, etc. were considered to be holy by the ancient Jews. Why were these books not later canonized outside of Ethiopia? And why did the Beta Israel Jews of Ethiopia maintain their canonization?
