When Abraham Lincoln travelled by train to Washington in February 1861, he gave a speech in Columbus, OH. Afterward, a mother gave Lincoln her baby to kiss; he named the baby Lincoln (at the mother's request), and she added the name Abraham. Does this baby show up in the historical record?
