Why didn't the Romans annex northern Somalia (Regio Aromatica/Barbaria) considering the wealth/value of the incense and aromatic products the region exported and how they filled Roman treasuries, and the fractious/divided nature of Berberoi (early Somali) society and their mercentile city states?
