American Indians are often depicted as fighting bare-chested, even in snowy conditions (ie, at St Clair's defeat in November in Ohio). How accurate is this depiction? Did Indian forces suffer from hypothermia/frostbite, or lose combat effectiveness, for being under-clad in these conditions?
