I've been told contrary to popular belief at the time Stalin hated or at least mistrusted Eastern Communists such as Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, Mao Zedong in China, and Kim Il Sung in Korea. Was their any truth to this and if so why would Stalin mistrust his closest ideological allies ?
