In "The Crown," the politicians and courtiers immediately recognized the Suez Crisis as a turning point of UK history and talked of a "post-Suez," new Britain. Was the Suez Crisis such an immediately recognized watershed moment? Or did the Crisis had different evaluations as times go by?
