What factors (I’m guessing environmental or economic) led to Asia developing religious movements (Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, etc.) that emphasized the cyclical nature of existence instead of creating narratives about human history building towards an end times reckoning, as in the Abrahamic faiths?
