During the years of lead in italy, when communist terrorists kidnapped, tortured and then killed the Italian prime minister Aldo Moro, many suggested that the kidnapping was sponsored by the US as a way to discredit communism in Italy, is there any basis for this theory or was it just a conspiracy ?
