How important was prisoner testimony at the Nuremberg trials (+ other WW2 military tribunals)? Was there any case where the testimonies alone brought a verdict? Was the SS delusional in thinking that, by killing off all the prisoners in a camp, the crimes committed wouldn't be discovered?
