How did the USSR prevent inadvertent Persian and or Iranian Azeri influence creeping into border SSRs like Tajikistan, Azerbaijan etc through everyday media like television? Did Moscow meticulously install signal blockers along borders areas or was it instead quite relaxed about harmless influence?
