What prevented the birth of a Roman Jewish-origin 'Mystery Cult' or 'Religion' even though Romans had direct interaction with Judaism for centuries and were clearly in the business of 'appropriating' religious ideas from most other cultures - Greeks, Persians, Egyptians, Indians etc...?
