Some have defended the actions of the Vichy regime in regards to the deportation of Jews - this seems to be a revisionist attempt to defend Petain, contrary to the standard view of Vichy France being a willful collaborator with Nazis. Is there an actual debate, or is this a nationalist tale of WWII?
