On 1 August 1971 George Harrison and Ravi Shankar organised two benefit concerts held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. They were arranged to raise awareness and money for refugees from East Pakistan following the 1970 Bhola cyclone and civil war in the country. (Continued below ๐)
