Went to ER, got meds, next day I'm still running a 99ish temp. Assuming this is fine since I'm fighting an infection right?

How can you find out how many Diverticula "small pouches" you have? It seems to me the more you have the greater the chance of getting a flair up. Is there a way to find this out? Probably from a CT scan, but I've had 3 and no one has mentioned the amount of diverticula I have.
