One goes up and one comes down. The Florence Spirit meeting the Frontenac in the flight locks (Locks 4,5 and 6 of the Welland Canal). They're called "the Flight Locks" because being right next to each other they look like a flight of stairs. Photos Michael Rodaway, July 31, 2024
