Solo Helldive, Bile Titan steps “on” (near) me = instant kill

High-graphic games frame skipping - any solution to this? If you notice in my background, my game skips a frame consistently every second or so. Look closely at the ship and my character and you see it. Happens in more than 1 game that has good graphics. Really good pc build too, so not sure why.
