I can figure out why my gauges won’t light up

So the NB I bought a few weeks ago overheated and had almost no coolant in de radiator left. I still drove it very slowly for a few minutes. What kind of repairs and problems will I be looking at? Can I fill her up and go home to my mechanic or should I go to the nearest one?
