Sam Raimi's CRIMEWAVE (1985) contains a bit of foreshadowing to the climax of his next film: EVIL DEAD 2 (1987), where a newspaper headline mentions a "time-space disturbance" at a murder site in Tennessee. Raimi had already settled on the time-travel plot shortly after the release of The Evil Dead.
