On August 5th, 1966, The Beatles released 'Revolver' in the UK, their 7th UK album; and arguably their greatest and most innovative release. The album cover, designed by Klaus Voormann, combined Aubrey Beardsley-inspired line drawing with photo collage. The album charted #1 nearly world-wide.
