At my new rental place, I found Black & green mold in the toilet tank. Looks like styrofoam was used on inside walls as a fix for something at some point 🤷♀️. Perfect medium for mold to grow on 🤦♀️. Is this common? Whole bathroom smells moldy, but rental company won’t replace the toilet 🙄.

Is is common for styrofoam to be used on inside walls of a toilet tank? The rental I’m in has this, but it happens to be the perfect medium for a ton of black and green mold 🤦♀️. Is it safe to pour bleach in with the styrofoam or is that unsafe the same way mixing bleach with ammonia isn’t safe?
