my console has mysteriously lost the ability to split the joycons into two controllers. like i can play just fine when the joycons are paired, but when i split them, only the right joycon will pair to the console. does anybody know how to fix this?

Is my dock bad (2017 V1)? It does this with any HDMI cord in any of the HDMI inputs. All other consoles and ports work.
