Ya'll want a genuinely unpopular opinion, I've got you: Katherine's early season actions with Damon make no sense if she wasn't in love with him & her actions with Stefan are suspect too. There's more concrete evidence towards Damon/Kat as a viable ship than there is for Steferine.
