Elisa Abruñedo Perez, a 46-year-old nursing home nurse, went out for a 2-hour walk on the evening of September 1st, 2013. At around 8PM she bumped into an acquaintance, and the two women talked for some time. The acquaintance was the last person to see Elisa alive. She did not return home that night
