Photograph of a temple at 'Lakshman Tal' Gohad, 1869 CE. Gohad was an old kingdom ruled by Bamrolia Jats situated on right bank of river Vaisali. This town was surrounded by three layer of walls, in the innermost stood a massive fort built by Maharaj Rana Bhim Singh in 1739 CE.
