In 2021 Katie Janness, 40, and her dog, Bowie, were gruesomely murdered at Piedmont Park in Atlanta Georgia. Police have not made any arrests or identified any suspects. The autopsy report said her throat had been slashed and the word ‘fat’ had been carved into her body.
