A young Black Bart, was an Old West outlaw noted for his poetic messages left after only two of his robberies (the fourth and fifth). The fame he received for his numerous daring thefts is rivaled only by his reputation for style and sophistication.

Black Bart was a hooded robber believed to have held up some 28 stagecoaches from 1875 to 1883. He famously left poems behind after 2 of his robberies including ‘I’ve labored long and hard for bread/ For honor and for riches/ But on my corns too long you’ve tred/ You fine haired Sons of B*tches.”
