OTD in 2009, Bangkok Airways Flight 266 (HS-PGL) an ATR-72-200 skids off the runway while landing at Samui International Airport in Thailand and crashes into an old & unmanned control tower. Out of 72 passengers and crew, 71 survive (41 are however injured & one of the pilots was the sole fatality).
