While at home, I use only the left airpod in my ear, and the right on the desk, to listen to family members calling my name. Can family members still hear what I'm listening to?

Adjustments like Adaptive EQ being made on a per-ear basis was a mistake and at the very least Apple needs to make it opt-out. The audio drift is driving me insane.
