Fun Amiibo History time #193: In an interview from 2014, IGN got to take about amiibo with Miyamoto and Takahashi. They asked if there were possibilities of people being able to order their own custom Mii amiibo in the future. Experiments were apparently being done but nothing ever came of it sadly
