What is going on here? Mother says she took the photo of girl while she was looking at the mirror but someone walked in and said her name so she looked over really fast and gave the peace side looking towards camera.

Kodak Eastman Double-X 5222 vs Fomapan 100. Is Kodak worth the extra $$ from the perspective of a smoother result and wider latitude? I know one is ~200iso and the other ~100iso. Also, I’m asking about 35mm here.
