I just found out one of the Chernobyl reactors remained operational until 2000. How could people keep going to work there every day, post 1986? Especially given that there’s an exclusion zone and visitors (even now) have to be extremely careful while there?

Are German and Austrian soldiers of WW1 remembered the same way we (British, ANZACS etc) remember ours? Or are they ostracized like those of Nazi Germany?

I am a Condottieri captain in the Middle Ages - Let's say the 13th century. How do potential employers hear about my company? What kind of agreements are put in place - Do I sign a contract? What happens if I break those agreements (because of a bribe, or to avoid putting my company at risk)?
