Domitian (CE 81-96) is the only Roman emperor who seems to have understood inflation and took measures to correct it by revaluing the currency. Why did later emperors not do this? Was the knowledge of the concept of inflation lost or something?

During the Korean War, both Seoul and Pyongyang were occupied by enemy forces for several months. What do we know about the different occupation policies for these two capitals? Were there attempts to set up aligned local governments, to prosecute enemies of the occupying regimes, etc?

I always notice slave ship drawings show slaves shackled and on their backs. So when slave ships transported African slaves to the Americas, how did the slaves eat and eliminate waste? Did they lay that way for the entire journey? How many didn't make it ?
