In the 1900's, a soldier, Hugh Trenchard, became partially paralyzed (waist down) from a bullet wound to the chest. Shortly after he traveled to Switzerland and began recreationally bobsleighing. One day he crashed, and after the wreck he was able to walk. How? Has this ever happened before?
