Scientists are always using supercomputer time to find phenomina in astronomical data, such as in the [Hunt for exomoons with Kepler](https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/HEK/index.html), as a programmer who's very interested in physics, is there some public code/explanation of how exactly they work?
