If a volcanic ash cloud reaches the stratosphere, how far of an area would it cover? And how would it effect human, animal, and plant life if the ash cloud didn't start to dissipate until after 3-4 years? (P.S. Please explain it like I'm 5. I got these fancy words from the internet.)
