If the recommended calcium intake for adult men and women is 1000/1300mg, but adults only absorb net of ≤25% of ingested calcium (or less), does that mean we only technically need 25% of that rec but have to consume more due to the inefficiencies? Or do we need to consume ≈4x the rec?
