TIL that on 8/18/1974, to avoid Kintetsu Buffaloes DH Clarence Jones, Nippon-Ham Fighters starter Naoki Takahashi was moved to 3rd base, before being moved back to the mound after Jones walked. Takahashi would finish the game and became the only pitcher to get the Win and the Save in the same game

[Camras] Brusdar Graterol leaving his first appearance of the season after throwing just eight pitches. Graterol, who’s been out all season with right shoulder inflammation, appeared to hurt something in his lower right leg. He’s limping off the field and is holding back tears. Just heartbreaking.
