I've always enjoyed board games, but it's only recently been an obsession. Up until a month ago we'd never played a game over a 2.5 BGG weight and now we love our first heavier game in Ark Nova!

Is Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion simple enough that you can just open the game and start playing and learn the rules as you go? Or is it the kind of game that requires a lot of pre-reading of all the rules and stuff first?
