I used Google Lens to see what skeletal structure is and it showed that it is 2-hydroxy-2-methylpentanoic acid, but I saw a "bromo" there, I also tried to make a model out of it using molview, and showed the 3D model as 2 separate structures. Can anyone tell me the name of this structure? Thanks!

Why is "In half-filled subshell configurations, there is a maximum in the effective nuclear charge felt by the electrons (compared to the previous elements with no doubly-occupied orbitals)" not off-topic response to a question on the trends in melting/boili' point in first series transition elemen?

[general chemistry] is zinc less dense than copper because the 4s orbital is further away from the nucleus than the 3d orbital, and having the 4s orbital full filled makes zinc less able to put the same mass in the same amount of space because copper doesn't have a filled 4s orbital?
