Explain temperature fluctuations. External factors are similar.. comfort settings the same. In some cases the actual temps over shots / undershoots the set temp. Other times it remains steady.

Question about new Ecobee Thermostat

Ecobee is not turning on. When I shut the main power off and then on, ecobee tries to boot (alexa light turns on) but with black screen. After 5-10 seconds the sensor turns red and the A/C shuts off. Can the ecobee unit be causing this or I have a faulty sensor? No water (10% humidity climate)
