Found on topsail island beach at low tide. I'm almost positive it's a sand dollar fossil. It's def a sand dollar but I've never seen one that's rugged up and feels like rock. Can anyone confirm or correct me

Found in Whitby, England. Cotton bud for scale. It may not even be fossilised but it feels much heavier and harder than bone. It also makes a noise similar to stone when knocked against things. Any ideas?

I was thinking this was some sort of sloth tooth? Not so sure. Found in Central Florida.
