Born in 1870 in Şumnu, Bulgaria, Filiz Nurullah, real name Ali Nurullah Hasan, was a Turkish wrestler. Due to his height of 2.18 metres and weight of 175 kg, he was nicknamed Filiz. In 1900, he travelled to France and participated in the golden belt tournament held in Paris.
