Does playing NTSC games (modded ps2) on a PAL console and PAL TV generate any problems with framerate (slowdowns, messed up audio etc.)?

480i CRT console vs LCD (emulation upscaled). Which looks better? Taken from "CRT Pixels" twitter post. Keep in mind, that it's very hard to take a picture of full quality of 480i on a CRT due to alternating scanlines, and yet imo it still looks better.
