In Jurassic World (2015), the presence of one of Count Olaf’s troupe from A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017) references that the whole hybrid escape was a ploy for Olaf to steal the Baudelaire fortune, but unfortunately the series ended before it got to this part. Thanks Netflix

In Igor (2008), the nations of the world routinely give tens of billions of dollars to a country populated entirely by supervillains to stop the release of doomsday devices. This shows the rampant waste of taxpayer money by world governments, as a nuclear warhead costs less than 1% of that figure.

In Independence Day (1996), The dog belonging to the main protagonist is named Boomer, this is because the dog does whatever it wants with little regard to whom it may effect, whilst still expecting to be pampered by everyone around it.

In "Avengers: Endgame" (2019) while Iron Man was briefly going crazy due to the power of the Infinity Stones, Thanos, instead of just walking a few meters towards him and killing him and taking the stones back, he quietly stands there and watches. This is a reference to the fact that he's a dumbass.
