Weird looking node on 3rd week

Last year I had a lot of weed from a plant grown in the same way, but I had waaaaay too many small buds and it took forever to trim. This plant usually starts flowering in late August. Should I cut away to have fewer buds already or should I wait? And if I cut, what do you recommend to cut away?
