Why does one Wi-Fi instantly connect to the laptop, while another Wi-Fi takes several hours to connect? Although on the phone, both wi-fi networks connect immediately

I apoogize if this has been asked 900 times.. im looking for the best wifi router for $60-$150 canadian. its literally only used for my smart t.v and my cell phone. i will eventually have cameras on it down the road.
