Why is there still such a sizeble italian minority in the US despite ww2?

When reading US history, it seems thst it's kind of a given that industrialisation makes slavery obselite. Not to defend slavery, but how can free labor power not be profitable?

What would the prophets of the major religions make of their religions today? Would they think their words had been subverted? Would they be disgusted by the actions taken in their names? How would they react to the wideness of their influence?

How come Leftist Wartime Coalitions (Communists, Anarchists, Socdems, progressives etc) are in general less united than their right wing counter parts (Fascists, Monarchists, Conservatives) when the latter are usually far more divided?
