There were concerns and question about jars getting too hot, so I started an experiment back in February. I put floaters in this cookie jar and left it outside on the porch where it gets 2 hours of direct sunlight. Temps reached 111 F outside. Lots of algae but also lots of life.

The other tank is done too. 160 lbs split between two tanks. I need a new back!

Is that like the stomach? Why is it so prominent? Others don’t have it like that.

BlueWhite and the 7 dwarfs. BlueWhite being the betta and the dwarfs being 4 Blue Brazos Dwarf Crayfish (Cambarellus texanus "Blue") and 3 new Orange Mexican Dwarf Crayfish (Cambarellus patzcuarensis 'Orange'). See initiation of the smallest one. Lil bud sure holds his own. I was ready to intervene.

Look at all those mayflies!!! All it is, is a little tiny stick I picked up in the lake. It's always the sticks and mud that have the most life.
