If at some point we did ever have to launch a bunch of nukes to divert/blow up asteroid assuming we have a little more advanced rocket technology and detected it well in advance, what would blowing up let’s say 50 strong nukes, would the potential radioactive effect on earth be?

Has the massive increase in CO2 levels in the last couple hundred years helped plants produce more oxygen? Is there any increase in global oxygen levels because of the increase in CO2 levels?
